We are all concerned with the rising cost of gasoline. It not only cost us directly as we pump the gasoline into our car,. it also cost us as in rising cost of food and most everything we use. Everything is shipped by some form of oil. I know many of you are dealing with it in many ways. There is one thing in this area that most don’t seem to know. I have written how the Democrats don’t want to drill for new oil. Now we find that they have a pending 10 cents per gallon increase in federal gas tax.

The Democrats have never been shy about the fact that they thought higher gas prices were a bad thing. The Democrats are so in bed with the environmentalist they they are willing to sell you and me out. In 1994 the environmentalist gave $9 million to seed congress with people that will further their causes. I would dare say that number is tripled in 2008. Now they are selling us out with the increase of gas taxes. The plan is that prices are higher we will drive less and thus save the planet from global warming.

The democrats are typical politicians, they sell to the highest bidder, and for the democrats it’s the environmentalist. Thats why they are against drilling for oil pretty much anywhere. Thats why they want to raise your gas taxes so that you drive less. Thats why they are going to carbon tax us until we are not much more than a third world country. Okay, maybe that is a bit drastic, but they do want to change your way of life, and not for the good.

Go research what it was like to live in the old Soviet Union. That is whats in store for you. We will be herded into cities where we will be forced to walk or to ride government provided transportation. Crime will be rampant and the black market for things as simple as bread will be common place. Don’t let your freedom be sold off in the name of environmentalist.

The left in the world has been trying to take over for decades, but they have always failed. They want you to live in submission to the government, but until now they they have failed. Now they have a new weapon to win you over, and thats called global warming.

“Inflate tires and tuneup your cars,” says Obama. When you are paying $4.00 for a gallon of gas this man wants you to check the pressure in your tires. He says this alone can save as much oil as all the new drilling in the USA can produce. This is obvious pandering to the environmentalist.

Obama says that the oil companies can drill in the 85 million acres of land they hold leases to. He fails to tell you they are drilling and continuously bringing in new oil wells, but these wells will not produce the oil that we need. In other areas of the land environmentalist are preventing the drilling by holding them up in court. The oil companies are spending millions on legal fees for this reason. Do the oil companies need subsidies? Obviously not at todays prices. I don’t think anyone is against suspending those subsidies.
